I'm Maryjane, and I live in Green Bay, Wisconsin with my husband, Nate, and two children...Kyle (age 12) and Brenna (age 9). Our family is also joined by our bichon frise, Reggie (as in REGGIE the WHITE dog), Brenna's charcoal chinchilla named Taz and greencheek conure (Princess), Kyle's budgie, Angel, and my own personal baby, Elvis, a male Solomon Island eclectus parrot, who is special enough to have his own website! I am also the owner of Lasting Memories Photography. My interests include photography, pet birds, reading, fishing, movies, computers and cooking.
Every year our family spends one week at beautiful Lake Noquebay by Crivitz, Wisconsin. Three years ago our boat sank. Our daughter needed emergency medical attention. It rained. The fish didn't bite. I did, however, get some really nice photos during the week. I guess that makes it all worthwhile. The past two years the weather was much better, and no one required emergency medical attention. However, the fish again refused to bite. Got more photos, though, so again....no real complaints! I am very happy to belong to the greatest church I've ever attended...GREEN BAY COMMUNITY CHURCH . If you're ever in Green Bay, please stop by for services on Saturday at 5p, or Sundays at 8:00a and 10:30a. You will be glad you did!
1/21/03 update: My life changed nearly a year ago, when I had gastric
bypass surgery for weight loss on March 7, 2002. Although my mother's
death the next day caused my recovery to be a bit more difficult than the
norm, I am terribly happy to say that, to date, I have lost 116 pounds. I
now wear a size 10 or 12, when I had previously worn a 28. I have also
had radical abdominoplasty to remove excess skin from my tummy area. For
